CONTINUING TO LEARN

Learning new techniques and improving myself is one of my passions and true loves. I am constantly challenging and pushing myself by sketching new subjects, studying the masters, practicing, and taking classes. I have been fortunate to have a variety of wonderful teachers who have pushed me to improve and taught me the skills I have today. Recently I have been venturing beyond my normal black and white drawings to learn a 4 color drawing technique. This is a drawing of Gabrielle Cot, originally by Bouguereau, that I achieved by layering black, white, red and yellow.
